I’ve been making surf photography in Sardinia since 2009, shooting surfers in action along the island’s west coast — above all at Capo Mannu and across the Sinis peninsula, the waves of my home ground.

Over five years as a photo editor in the surf press, I had the chance to meet and work alongside many of the people who shape this world: professional surfers, and the photographers and filmmakers who tell its stories from the inside. That experience is where my way of working took shape — get in the water, wait for the right moment, and hold it.
