A few years after I first picked up a camera, I fell for film — and for the darkroom: developing and printing with my own hands.
Today that craft is the whole of my personal work. I shoot only on film, develop every roll myself, and for exhibitions I print by hand in the darkroom, working across different printing techniques. Over time I’ve also taught it — home developing and darkroom printing — passing on a slower way of making images, one that asks for patience and gives it back.
